Every day, all across America, thousands of airline and car rental customers and

the country provides better ground transportation services than we do.
Our team serves airlines, airports, rental car companies and municipal
authorities, providing a wide range of landside transportation and mobility
management services.

where they need to go, to do what they need to do.
Rail
Veolia Transport's lengthy experience in light rail and tram service dates back
to 1875, when the Compagnie Générale Française de Tramways (CGFT) was first
incorporated.
It operated the Le Havre, Marseille, Nancy, Orleans, Tours, Rouen, Bordeaux,
Genoa, Tunis and Hanoi tram services until the late 1950s.
Over the years, Veolia has become a leading player in this mode of
transportation now operating light rail systems in Stockholm, Dublin,
Barcelona, Saint Etienne, and recently securing its first light rail contract
in the United States for service in Oceanside, Calif.
Veolia will operate, dispatch, and maintain the new Oceanside to Escondido light
rail commuter service, known as Sprinter. Working with its key subcontractor
Bombardier Transportation, the state-of-the-art operation is set to open to
customers by December 31, 2007.

Meet Babatunde Nelson Adeala. Babatunde was born in Nigeria and came to the
United States to further his education. He started with Veolia
Transportation in 2002 with Cobb Community Transit in Marietta, Georgia.
Asked to comment on his experience for this story, Babatunde said, "Nothing else
makes me happier than doing what I love and enjoy doing. Being a compassionate
person, I am able to provide exceptional public service transport my passengers
to their various activities safely. Everyday knowing that people are depending
on me to provide them care is very rewarding. I look forward to going to work
